Homosexuals give Obama standing ovation

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama was given a hero’s welcome last night as he addressed the nation’s most powerful homosexual group.

The estimated crowd of three thousand homosexuals and supporters attending the annual dinner of the Human Rights Campaign gave Obama a standing ovation as he repeated his pledges to meet some long-standing demands of homosexual activists. Read more…

University of North Texas student senate says ‘no’ to same-sex couples on homecoming court

By KIP MOONEY / The Dallas Morning News The University of North Texas’ student governing body has voted down a proposal to allow same-sex couples to run for homecoming king and queen.

Five of the senators at the meeting voted Thursday to amend the Student Government Association’s bylaws, 10 voted against and eight abstained. Read more…

EEOC nominee signed radical marriage manifesto that praised polygamy

Washington D.C., Sep 30, 2009 / 01:20 pm (CNA).- A law professor nominated by President Obama to become a commissioner for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission was a signatory to a radical 2006 manifesto which endorsed polygamous households and argued traditional marriage should not be privileged “above all others.”

Georgetown University Law Center professor Chai R. Feldblum, nominated as a commissioner for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), is listed as a signatory to the July 26, 2006 manifesto “Beyond Same-Sex Marriage: A New Strategic Vision for All Our Families & Relationships.” Read more…

‘Safe schools’ act – a misnomer?

The Illinois Family Institute is raising concern over a “safe schools” amendment in the U.S. Congress.  

The Safe Schools Improvement Act (H.R. 2262) would ammend the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act to include bullying and harrasment prevention programs. Laurie Higgins of the Illinois Family Institute says this is one of the central ways to get pro-homosexual information and resources into public schools.

Prop 8 Under Fire (again)

All friends of democracy should be troubled that the same court whose decision to nullify a law passed by the state legislature that was overruled by a majority of California voters in the last election is now being asked to override the decision of the people. Gay rights activists are asking the state’s Supreme Court to overturn voter-approved Proposition 8 that limited marriage to one man and one woman on a technicality. Read more…

By now, everyone knows that the Supreme Court of Iowa has imposed same-sex “marriage” on the heartland of America, a mere 10 years after the people of that state had expressly voted against it. What very few people know is exactly how unfair this fight really was. Not only was the lineup within the courtroom imbalanced, but the trial court refused to hear relevant evidence.
