To all our faithful blog commenters…
July 3rd, 2010
I’ve seen many blog comments with the writer stating “I wish I could edit my comment,” following a string of corrections to his or her previous post. May I simply suggest to everyone that you proofread your post before submitting it? This will make life easier for both you and your readers.
Thanks,
Management

Oh, we do. But it’s scientifically proven that some typos are actually invisible until you hit Send.
I wish I could edit this comentt.
LOL to both of you! Thanks for the laugh.
But on a serious note:
Some of us are trying to make our comments as polished as we can (by trying to figure out how to italicize, make bold print, use block quotes, etc…). It would be nice to be able to preview and see whether our innovations actually worked or just made a mess of things before clicking the “Submit Comment” button.
But I’m sure that our IT guy is a volunteer (like virtually all the other staff at Ruth Institute) with a day job and a life and not necessarily a copious amount of free time to spend catering to our whims and desires…
So I guess we can make do (and just learn to live with a few imperfections in our posts).
Wow, Leleand–how did you DO that! Italics, bold print…my gosh, please let me in on your secret!
Ginny,
Let me try this to make sure it works:
